The Quality of Your Questions
The quality of your results is most often determined by the quality of your questions. Whenever you are faced with making a decision whether for something major in your life or something as simple as "Should I have that dessert?", learn to ask yourself questions that will cause you to make the decision based on your long term goals and values. Here are some examples of questions you could ask yourself:
- Will that bring me closer to accomplishing my goal?
- Is this decision congruent with my belief system?
- Will this choice bring me long term fulfillment or only short term joy?
- Will this choice add to my life or take away from my life?
- Does this choice empower me?
Wishing you the right answers to all the right questions.
