What station are you tuned to?

If you are like most, unless we make a concerted effort to shift, you are tuned into WII-FM. That stands for What's In It For Me. "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."

This statement attributed to Helen Keller rarely defines the life of those tuned into WII-FM. Those who dare to make life an adventure are serving a purpose larger than themselves and choosing to make a difference in their world - their sphere of influence. It matters not what you do to earn your living, you can make a difference in the lives of those you encounter everyday. Who are we to judge where another person has come from, what their life experience has been or what they are experiencing in the moment. If together we all choose to live an exemplary life sharing our gifts and talents with our fellow human beings, if we chose to always life by paying it forward, what kind of world could we create? It is easy to do the math and see the exponential effect this attitude could have on humanity. Just do a progression of 2, 20times over. Do you have the answer yet? If two people helped two people that helped two other people and this occurred for 20 progressions, the lives of 2,097,152 people would be changed. The number gets staggering when the progression goes to 50 and 100, because at 25 progressions we are already at 67,108,864 and that's twice the population of Canada. To affect every person in the USA we only have to go 2.2 more progressions. You have the ability to make our world a bit better one comment or one smile at a time. Will you please commit to smiling more and being your best with everyone you encounter.
