Pour your heart into whatever you do
Having passion for what you do is the ultimate key to being successful at it. Halfhearted efforts usually show through as mediocre effort.
|
|

|
Believe that what you do matters and will make a difference in people's lives.
You don't have to save the world in one stroke, but you can make a difference one person at a time.
|
|

|
Do more than you are being compensated to do.
Reaching excellence is about doing what you do anyway. That quality of going the extra mile "just because" is what will set you apart.
|
|

|
After you've done more than you are being compensated for, do it again and again.
Raise the bar continually. Giving more than you get does come back to you.
|
|

|
Give everything you do, all you've got.
|
|

|
Do the usual in unusual ways.
Develop creative processes. Think outside the box.
|
|

|
Endure through the rough and demanding times.
Getting through difficult challenges will sharpen your skills and talents. Remember that after every storm comes a rainbow.
|
|

|
Get up close and personal.
Identify with what you do. Make everything you do part of who you are, not just something you do.
|
|

|
Let go of the outcome.
Know you did your very best. Deliver your service to the best of your ability. Always follow the principles and teach the principles.

Life
- it tends to respond to our outlook, to shape itself to meet our expectations. Have a great outlook and get great results, no matter who, no matter what.

My Favorite Poem
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centred; Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives; Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, there may be jealousy; Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it's between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway.

The New Beginning
This is the beginning of a new day for you- A new era. You will understand that every day is given to you to do as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this will be gone forever and in its place is something that you have left behind - Let it be something great!
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of Attitude on life. It's usually more important than facts and leads us to belief. The people I've met who have excelled in life are people who believe in themselves, in their purpose and in their goals. Having a great day everyday, is about attitude. Is yours worth catching?
In life you will be faced with obstacles- you can choose to have these stress you or you can choose to view these obstacles as opportunities waiting to be solved. So why do so many people fail to achieve?
Choose to get involved and make a difference in your life and that of others. Join us at one of our life transforming seminars and discover the answers to some of life's great questions.

Things To Remember...
No man/woman is worth your tears, and the one who is will never make you cry.
Everyone hears what you say- Friends listen to what you say and great friends listen to what you don't say.
Don't frown, because you never know who's falling in love with your smile.
If you judge people, you have no time to like or love them.
Be kind, for everyone you meet is likely fighting a harder battle.
Enthusiasm is contagious, go out each day smiling and start an epidemic - because yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, today is a true gift that's why we call it the present.
Pointers To Follow When Feeling Overwhelmed
- Make a list of all tasks you have to accomplish. Just writing the list helps.
- Prioritize the items on your list (must do vs. important).
- Delegate - eliminate from your list any task that someone else could do.
- Learn to say "no thank you". Eliminate those items that are not going to move you closer to your goals.
- Look at your list and select tasks that you are best at accomplishing, and do these first. Success is energizing. Then complete one task at a time until each is done.
- Schedule your tasks so you can maintain focus (PTC - present time consciousness).
- Take deep breaths often to energize your body and your mind.
- Schedule some time to relax and experience balance in your life.
- Work out regularly, especially when you feel tired.
- Stay in the moment. Think about what you are doing, not about what you are not doing.
The 33 Principles of Chiropractic
- The Major Premise
A universal intelligence is in all matter and continually gives to it all its properties and actions, thus maintaining it in existence.
- The Chiropractic Meaning of Life
The expression of this intelligence through matter is the chiropractic meaning of life.
- The Union of Intelligence and Matter
Life is necessarily the union of intelligence and matter.
- The Triune of Life
Life is triunity, having three necessary united factors: intelligence, force and matter.
- The Perfection of the Triune
In order to have 100 percent in life, there must be 100 percent intelligence, 100 percent force, 100 percent matter.
- The Principle of Time
There is no process that does not require time.
- The Perfection of the Triune
The amount of intelligence for any given amount of matter is 100 percent and is proportional to its requirements.
- The Function of Intelligence
The function of intelligence is to create force.
- The Amount of Force Created by Intelligence
The amount of force created by intelligence is always 100 percent.
- The Function of Force
The function of force is to unite intelligence and matter.
- The Character of Universal Forces
Forces of universal intelligence are manifested by physical laws; they are unswerving and unadapted, and have no solicitude for the structures in which they work.
- The Interference of Transmission of Universal Forces
There can be interference with transmission of universal forces.
- The Function of Matter
The function of matter is to express force.
- The Universal Law
Forces manifested by motion in matter; all matter has motion, therefore there is universal life in all matter.
- No Motion Without the Efforts of Force
Matter can have no motion without the application of force by intelligence.
- Intelligence in Both Organic and Inorganic Matter
Universal intelligence gives force to both organic and inorganic matter.
In organic matter, universal intelligence is in the form of innate intelligence within that living thing, governing through intelligent direction and organization.
With inorganic matter, universal intelligence is manifested as an intelligent force maintaining molecular discipline and organization.
- Cause and Effect
Every effect has a cause and every cause has an effect.
- Evidence of Life
The signs of life are evidence of the intelligence of life.
- Organic Matter
The material of the body of a living thing is organized matter.
- Innate Intelligence
A living thing has an inborn intelligence within its body called innate intelligence.
- The Mission of Innate Intelligence
The mission of innate intelligence is to maintain the material of the body of a living thing in active organization.
- The Amount of Innate Intelligence
There is 100 percent of innate intelligence in every living thing- the requisite amount, proportionate to its organization.
- The Function of Innate Intelligence
The function of innate intelligence is to adapt universal forces and matter for use in the body, so that all parts of the body will have coordinated action for mutual benefit.
- The Limits of Adaptations
Innate intelligence adapts forces and matter for the body as long as it can do so without breaking a universal law, or innate intelligence is limited by the limitations of matter.
- The Character of Innate Forces
The forces of innate intelligence never injure or destroy the structures in which they work.
- Comparison of Universal and Innate Forces
In order to carry on the universal cycle of life, universal forces are destructive and innate forces are constructive, as we regard structural matter.
- The Normality of Innate Intelligence
Innate intelligence is always normal and its function is always normal.
- The Conductors of Innate Intelligence
The forces of innate intelligence operate through or over the nervous system in animal bodies.
- Interference with Transmission of Innate Forces
There can be interference with the transmission of innate forces.
- The Cause of Dis-ease
Interference with transmission of innate forces causes incoordination or dis-ease.
- Subluxation
Interference with transmission in the body is always directly or indirectly due to subluxation in the spinal column.
- The Principles of Coordination
Coordination is the principle harmonious action of all the parts of an organism, in fulfilling their offices and purposes.
- The Law of Demand and Supply
The law of demand and supply is existent in the body in its ideal state, where in the clearing house is the brain, innate the virtuous banker, brain cells clerks, and nerve cells messengers.

DESIDERATA
|
Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant, for they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, for they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter, for always, there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble: it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let not this blind you to what virtue there is. Many persons strive for high ideals and everywhere, life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of aridity and disenchantment, it is perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are the child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. You have the right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with god, whatever you conceive him to be. And whatever your labours and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
Be careful.
Strive to be happy.

WHAT IF... by Dr. Gilles Lamarche
|
What if... we could experience gratitude each moment of everyday for chiropractic and all things large and small that add richness to our life?
What if... we acknowledge chiropractic's gifts and greatness each and everyday?
What if... we let go of the notion that everything must be perfect and instead, celebrate how perfect we are in this moment, glorious flaws and all?
What if... we always feel worthy of what our hearts long for?
What if... we treat each new patient and each new day as a cause for celebration?
What if... we recognize that growing pains are the threshold through which we must travel to experience lasting joy?
What if... we start splashing through life's mud puddles instead of tiptoeing around them?
What if... we speak the truth from our hearts from this day forward, rather than allowing our words to get tangled in our head?
What if... we could each rest upon our deathbed with a smile from ear to ear uttering "If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing".
Because
Chiropractic is a gift, I accepted it.
Chiropractic is an adventure, I dared it.
Chiropractic is a mystery, I unfolded it.
Chiropractic is a puzzle, I solved it.
Chiropractic is a game, I played it.
Chiropractic can be a struggle, I faced it.
Chiropractic is beauty, I praised it.
Chiropractic is an opportunity, I took it.
Chiropractic was my mission, I fulfilled it.

LIFE is GOOD Beyond All Measure
"To those who see with loving eyes, life is beautiful. To those who speak with tender voices, life is peaceful. To those who help with gentle hands, life is full. And to those who care with compassionate hearts, life is good beyond all measure."
When you read these words do you automatically think chiropractic? Everyone in the world seeks peace, beauty, fullness of life and goodness. As chiropractors we have the opportunity to share this beauty with everyone who crosses our path and we have the opportunity to be at the helm of a movement that can bring peace into the lives of so many. Could we always "see with loving eyes", "speak with tender voices", "help with gentle hands" and "care with compassionate hearts"? Of course we could, and so could our team members. Imagine for a moment how everyone in your environment would improve if all practiced these principles. Do you think that this type of emotion would affect the lives of every patient? How would this affect the lives of their loved one's and co-workers after your patient left your office in a different frame of mind? What would this do to change your life and that of your team members? What would this do to change the world one patient at a time, one practice at a time, one community at a time? Try it, I am certain that you will love the process. Increase your public accountability and share this message with your family and team. Tell them that as of today you promise yourself, them and the Universe (God) that you will speak with a tender voice, help with gentle hands and care with a compassionate heart. By being publicly accountable you automatically increase your awareness of your desire to serve at a new level. With right intent to do good, everyone and everything in your life will benefit. Can this be considered a practice-building tip as well? Try it and you be the judge. Your life will be forever enhanced and you will discover that life truly is good beyond all measure and so are the people who practice these simple yet effective ways of changing the world one little attitude at a time. As Gandhi once said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world". My dear friends and colleagues look at yourself in the mirror and join me in saying "It all starts here", and take the important step to make this happen in your life - Action, action, action...
With love and respect for chiropractic and all who serve humanity,
Yours in Peace,
Dr.Gilles Lamarche
